A company profile contains all the information you need to get to know the company better:

– A detailed company introduction, photos and videos, job extras available at the company, and social media links.

– In addition, reviews and pre-screened text reviews of the company, as well as active job advertisements for the company.

You can rate your previous or current employer on a scale of 1 to 5 stars or share your experience in written form. Your rating is anonymous and helps jobseekers to find their ideal job. It takes just a couple of minutes to complete.

Any illegal content – e.g. job advertisement, text reviews (including the response to it), company page content – can be reported on the interface by selecting the appropriate icons and indicating the reason(s) next to the content (or via e-mail to ugyfelszolgalat@profession.hu address).

In case of detection of illegal user content (e.g. infringing resume, review), advertisers/employers can also file a report.

The content shall be deemed illegal if:

violates the law in itself (e.g. a defamatory company review);
refers to a violation of the law (e.g. a job advertisement referring to the misuse of personal data, recruitment of illegal sex workers or a company review referring to a labour law violation);
infringes the Terms of Use (e.g. pornographic resume);
infringes the Review Regulations (e.g. obscene review);
infringes the General Terms and Conditions (e.g. discriminative ad).

Investigation process and legal remedy:

Decision: We will examine the report and inform the complainant of its results. If illegal content is detected, it will be deleted and the publisher will also be informed about the deletion/restriction of access to the content.
Legal remedy at the service provider: Against the decision, it is possible to lodge a complaint within 6 months, i.e. to request a repeat inspection. The request can be submitted to the e-mail address ugyfelszolgalat@profession.hu, indicating the e-mail address, history, and the specific reason for the legal remedy (why you do not agree with the decision). We will inform the person submitting the complaint about the decision and, if the original decision is amended, also the person who published the content.

A review of the legal remedy decision can be requested at an out-of-court dispute resolution body, court or authority as follows:

Out-of-court dispute resolution body: A user in a contractual relationship with the service provider can turn to the Online Platform Dispute Resolution Board in order to resolve a dispute arising in connection with the EU regulation on digital services. The condition for starting the procedure is that you attempt to settle the dispute directly with the service provider, and that you exhaust the possibility of internal legal remedies. On the website of the National Media and Communications Authority are available the other out-of-court dispute resolution bodies with additional powers, their contact details and the subject areas they can act on.
Initiation of authority proceeding: If the decision regarding the content reported as illegal does not comply with the rules of the EU regulation on digital services, and it is not changed within the framework of the legal remedy, a general official supervision procedure can be initiated at the National Media and Communications Authority.
Initiation of court proceeding: You can initiate legal proceedings against the decision/remedial decision related to the content reported as illegal.

You can cancel your Profession.hu registration anytime.

Your registration can be cancelled for the following reasons:

account deleted by the service provider,
24 months (720 days) have passed since the last activity (using the website, reading the newsletter, applying for a job).

You can choose to save your applications in progress.

Should you not choose so your applications in progress will be deleted too, so the employers will not see your applications in Profession.hu’s Applicant Tracking System.

Upon deleting your account, all your data will be deleted permanently.

Once your account has been deleted, you will have to register yourself again to use Profession.hu.

If you cannot log in to your account, you should check the following:

entering the correct e-mail address,
entering the correct password,
checking previous registration,
date of registration.

Please note if you have not logged in to your account for more than 24 months, your profile has been automatically deleted. In this case, please register again!

Once logged in, you can modify and edit your details in your account.

It is always good to keep them up to date as these are the data employers using Profession.hu can see about you in case your profile is public, or you apply for jobs.

The following data can be updated anytime in your user account:

name,
email address,
country/municipality,
date of birth,
telephone number,
type of driver’s licence,
photo,
professional experience,
language skills,
education,
professional skills,
ideas, expectations,
uploaded documents.

In the CV profile menu, you can fill in the details employers are most interested in during the application process.

These are the following:

introduction,
personal and contact info,
professional experience,
language skills,
education,
skills,
honors and awards,
personal interests,
expectations,
uploaded documents.

The CV profile serves two purposes:

if you apply for a position, the data given here will be shown to the employer;
if your CV profile is public, employers can contact you directly about job offers.

You can also create your CV using the data you have provided. The system will then automatically prepare your CV which you can download in the CV profile menu by clicking the Download CV profile in PDF format button at the top of the page.

You have to create a user account to access certain content and use certain services of Profession.hu.

There are more ways to register yourself (using your email address, Facebook account, etc.), however, only one user account can be created using one email address.

Data to provide when opening an account are as follows:

name,
email address,
password,
address.

The last step of registration is validation. This is required to prevent accidental or inaccurate registrations from happening.

Validation consists of one step only. An automatic email will be sent to the user’s email address with a link to click to complete registration.

There are six days (144 hours) for validation starting from the initiation of the registration.

If the validation is not completed, registration and data given will be deleted after 7 days.

On the profession.hu interface, you can search in several ways: you can search by position name, location, company name or you can select a job category or area.

In the case of a keyword search, the order of the ads available on the list page is primarily determined by the relevance of the keyword, and secondly by the time the ad was published/updated.
The order of the advertisements available on the category list pages is influenced by when the job advertisement was published/updated and the type of service ordered by the advertiser. The Basic job advertisement type (an advertising service available free of charge or for a very low fee to a narrow group of advertisers) appears subordinated on both keyword and category ad list pages.
The visual display of the ads on the advertising list pages is determined by the service(s) ordered by the advertiser.
